When the snow keeps falling and no one interrupts it, every little detail becomes part of the beauty it leaves behind. If only the skies would open up and rain kindness down upon mankind, the world would be a very different place.
I was out every day through the storm that recently swept through North America causing havoc everywhere it went. So much snow came down it was amazing…haven’t seen this much since I was a little girl. Here’s some loveliness to share from my adventures trekking through over two feet of snowfall.
Reading between the lines, to me, does not mean seeking alternate motives between the obvious. Here, in this photo, reading between the lines is having a chance to notice the beauty in every layer. The leaves are nice, the trees are strong, but there are a million little motions and intentions at play in a single moment in time. I have no idea what is behind each of these things, but I can stop, capture and lose myself in the loveliness of the everything.
Can it get any better? Sometimes if you just shift your perspective every so slightly, you end up not only seeing the lovely fall colours, but also the sky above. It might not be as lovely as the trees, but without it, they could not exist and our eyes would not see the colours in the spectrum raining down from above. 🙂
Love life. That’s all that really counts in the end.
Sometimes, I try to stop and find the most simple thing I can and then lose myself in it…the beauty of it without all the complicated mess of camera settings and shutter speeds. I just hold the camera to my eye and let it do it’s job without my interference. The photos don’t always turn out perfect, but in that itself…the kinda do.
One single moment in time, captured and shared. This is why I love what I do here.
I’ll post the sky/tree shots first so those of you who dislike snakes (tiny, cute ones) can skip the last shot. 🙂
And now for the adorable little snake family hiding in the leaves. These guys are harmless and are so tiny, you are lucky to actually see one. They move fast too; however, it’s always AWAY from you so I’m all good with them. 🙂
